Supporting Christians In the Workplace

  • Our Vision is to see Christians gently and respectfully live out their faith in public life, and find purpose in work.

Our Mission simply is to support Christians by addressing topical issues that impact on inclusion, engagement and witness at work.

The bent towards a sacred/secular divide has kept many individuals from embracing the call to live authentic and therefore productive lives at work.

As a result, we provide guidance, mainly through 'Sessions', to inspire and equip Christians to understand the principles of equality and diversity, and to use these as opportunities to intentionally engage in the corporate community with the aim to add value and to be a positive force for good

Opportunities to engage are numerous in the workplace. The diversity calendar provides many days and months in the year to raise awareness and inform colleagues of various topical issues. Other platforms such as Staff Networks groups, Multi-faith forums, Wellbeing initiatives, etc. also abound.

These have great potential as opportunities to serve, add value and demonstrate the Christian faith in action, before it can ever be spoken in word.

Being actively involved in the workplace with a sincere desire to serve authenticates the Christian witness and more potentially gives the Gospel a platform to be heard in an ethnically and religiously diverse corporate community.

Let us seek to advance human flourishing (Shalom) through the deployment of our vocational power for benefit of colleagues, clients and customers, community and country.

What we do, not just how we do it, can enable our neighbour to experience shalom.

For the work itself matters. What we do—not just how we do it—matters.
