A Christmas Event

Why don't you organise a Carol Service this year?

Have you ever thought of organising a Christmas Carol Service in your workplace? If not, read the following report.

A Carol Service Report from 2014

The three Christian Groups at Ealing Council organised a Christmas Carol Service in December 2014. The focus of the event was to share the true peace and joy that the
Christmas season brings. It was also to raise the spirits of the Staff of the Council at a time of great transitions due to redundancies and restructures within the organisation.

On the day, there was live music, carols, Scripture readings and a short Gospel talk; with mulled wine and mince pies afterwards. Lots of people stayed behind to chat and catch up with one another. It was truly a joyful time for everyone who attended.

And the good spirits overflowed into the offices for the next few weeks leading up to Christmas. The moral of staff improved and the whole atmosphere was transformed.

The Carol Service was organised by Workers Aflame!, Ealing Lunchtime Talks and Ealing Staff Christian Fellowship – the Pentecostals, the Presbyterians and the Anglicans.

The three groups came together to make the event a success. Truly, when the body works in unity, it is always stronger, safer and better together for it.

Now this is 2022...

Why don’t you come together with other Christians in your workplace and organise something for Christmas that will put a smile on the faces of your colleagues and add value to your organisation, especially in these trying economic times.

You may need to get consents from management but depending on how your Christian witness and conduct has been, that should generally not be an issue. Especially under the Diversity Policy.

You can also contact us should you need encouragement, or want to know more about how to go about it. We would love to serve you in any way.

Whatever you do, have a great line up to Christmas.
