Whether you are in work or out of work currently, a doctor or a data processor; you are invited to gather with us to pray for your work, your workplace and all matters pertaining to work.
Every second and last Friday of the month, we gather online and talk to Jesus about work related issues in our unique, personal context, as well as in the national context.
"...Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Jeremiah 29:7
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Also, a group from across the UK who have been gathering monthly to pray for their Work for the past 14 years has joined the WorkersAflame! community.
So, whether you work alone, you belong to a Christian group or you can’t pray with others in your workplace; whatever your situation: you are welcome to join us.
NB: There have been several encouraging reports of answer to prayer.
