The Story...

In 2009,
Workers Aflame! was launched as a Christian staff network
at a government corporation in London.
As a mission, the aim was to raise awareness of faith and belief as a protected characteristic, and its benefits in the workplace.
This was executed through strategic lunchtime events
that were organised weekly throughout the year.
Alpha by HTB was one of them.

In 2013, Alpha enabled individuals to access and explore the Christian faith at lunchtime work events in a non-committal, non-judgmental way.
This proved beneficial and very effective
for staff and the organisation at the time.

Workers Aflame! transitioned

It became an online platform for London workers, during the Pandemic.
Monthly online workshops facilitated interactive and guided conversations on topical issues impacting faith and belief in work in particular,
and public life in general.
Various professionals contributed to the 'Sessions',
speaking from their own corporate experience.
And, numerous articles were published
to keep the community engaged and encouraged
during a difficult time in history.
The timing was quite strategic.

Currently,

Worker Aflame! aims to address a more critical need.

In a world that is constantly changing, uncertain,
ambigous and dangerous, there is a chasm that needs to be filled
with Truth that is tried and tested,
and proven to be substantial, stable and secure for life.

Workers Aflame! seeks to create forums and safe spaces to have conversations that will support and enable individuals
to flesh out pragmatic and practical ways
to purposefully engage with the narrative in society,
in order to live lives that contribute
to healthy and safe families and communities.

In Partnership with key stakeholders,
we seek to educate, to enable and to encourage individuals
to intentionally impact society
at a pivotal time in history.

We aim to support individuals to seek significance
in each sphere, season and stage of life. (Eph. 2:10)

The Question:
How does one navigate a VUCA situation in today's society?
