Who we are

In 2009,

Workers Aflame! started as a corporate staff network with the aim to raise awareness of the benefits of 'faith and belief' at work. The network sat comfortably within the Diversity and Inclusion Policy

We organised various lunchtime events throughout the year such as topical talks and discussions, awareness weeks, Carol services, and the Alpha Course. Alpha enabled conversations exploring the Christian faith over lunch. Everyone was welcome.

The approach proved beneficial in enhancing morale and increasing cohesion.

Workers Aflame! transitioned in 2013

Workers Aflame! became an online platform for London workers during the Pandemic. Monthly 'Sessions' facilitated interactive and guided conversations on topical issues impacting faith and belief at such a period in history. â€‹â€‹Various personalities and professionals contributed, articles were published, and workers were kept engaged and encouraged.  It was a strategic and critical resource for that time.

Currently,

Worker Aflame! aims to address a compelling need at a time of constant change, complexity, and uncertainty.

Historically, at such times, a chasm is created in society that craves certainty: security, stability, and safety. And, only what  has been tried and tested as true and transcendent can sustain that level of need and provide the dignity and quality of life required.

In partnership with key professionals and stakeholders, we aim to create safe spaces and places that will facilitate athentic and meaningful conversations that are pragmatic and practical, and that will enlighten, enable and equip individuals to navigate successfully personal, community, and corporate issues.

The goal is to look, lean in and listen, and learn how to better engage with intentionality and purpose every season, stage and sphere of life and living.

In a nutshell, to fan into flame your full potential to navigate effectively current and future circumstancial narratives.

The
Dignity
of Work

In each stage of life,

there are diverse kinds of endeavour,

all of which add dignity to humanity

and value to society.

Work is a sacred Mission,

and a service if not to oneself,

then to someone else.
