The Promise...

An Undergraduate Thesis Dedication

(LASU:1985 -1989)

The sidlings were sown in August of 1987 when the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International FGBMFI were hosting one of their stirling breakfast meetings at the opulent Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, and I received an invitation to attend.

Being a student in my third year at LASU I had to go,

and I got more than I bargained for.

I found what I had been looking for most of my life:

PURPOSE.

On graduating, I wrote the following in my thesis:

I have known something

That is a former thing

It was thut' to be

Until I realised

Thut's are not meant to be

But surely I perceive

The Thut's He has for me

Which Will Be.

And, I dedicated it to:

My Father, the Most High God

And, my Lord Jesus, the Christ,

The Author, Developer and Perfecter

Of all that is mine;

With whom I have an endless hope...

My One Living Hope!
